Internet Marketing for Clothing Stores Online

Do you run an internet clothing store? If you do, you understand that the top way to make more finance with the inventory that you have is by getting as many customers to the shop as possible. Clothing is a seasonal business. People like to purchase spring clothing in the spring and hot clothing in the winter, so you only have a little period of time during which you need to move your inventory.

So how can you sell the most online clothing in the shortest period of time? Use these tips to make more finance with your online clothing store:

Define the hit market for the clothing that you sell. Sometimes the hit market is more or less clear. If you sell women skirts or tops, your target market is most likely ladies.

Sometimes the hit market is not as clear. If you sell clothing for kids who are 5-10 years old, your hit market is not the kids themselves, but rather their parents. The parents are the ones who are going to online and spend finance on clothing that you sell.

If you sell pants and shirts for men, both men and women might be your hit market. Men are likely shop for clothing that you give since it is designed for them. Anyway, women in their lives are also likely to shop and buy clothing for men, so women will shop at men clothing shops as well.

Show off the clothing in the top possible light. When people buy clothes online, they truly want to see how it looks; sometimes they even want to see how the clothes look on others. Ensure that you have top standard images of clothing on your site.

Offer as much detail as possible about clothing. When people shop for online clothing the cannot try it on before purchasing. Therefore, they are looking for as much detail about the clothing as possible.

Optimize your clothing site for search engines. When people are looking for online clothing, they are searching for them using Google. If you optimize your site for search engines, you will be capable to get these people to your site to buy the clothing that you are selling. SEO is the process of modifying meta-information and web page content to improve the Search engine ranking of the website. Meta-information includes certain HTML tags, as well as the external and internal link structure of a website.

WHAT I WORE: Cream Long Sleeve Bodycon Dress!

As you most of you know by now, I’m training  in The Edge Gym to achieve a more toned look and also to introduce some fitness into my life. (Read More About This HERE)

On Thursday I got some good news that I have nearly lost the full 3%  body fat my personal trainer Michelle has advised me to loose in order to tone up. It sounds weird that someone as slim as me needed to loose weight – but really what I needed to lose was some body fat in order to tone. In context, the term toned implies leanness in the body (low levels of body fat), noticeable muscle definition and shape, but not significant muscle size. I’m still not fully, fully where I want to be in terms of toning, but I will be soon now that I have lost the body fat 🙂  I will be doing a full blog review soon along with my diet plan and before and after pics, so stay tuned!

Anyway, on Friday night, after not drinking for three weeks (?), I decided last minute with my boyfriend Dylan to head out for a few drinks. The posted a picture of the dress I wore that night on the Facebook page and a lot of you asked me where it’s from. So to answer your question, the dress I wore is from Vavavoom.ie (CLick HERE to buy) and it’s only €34.99! Bargain or what?! The belt comes with dress and I just teamed it with black louboutins inspired shoes and a cream bag.

Ohh’ I also met two lovely SoSueMe.ie readers out – pic below 🙂 Always lovely to meet your fans out and about!

SoSueMe Catch Up & a What I Wore!

Hey guys!

Happy Monday, how is everyone’s day going? Mine is BUSY! Sorry I haven’t been on blogging much personal stuff lately, I am literally swamped. I have been trying to get my online store stock up on the site for you guys, deal with orders, as well as get my YouTube Channel set up AND I’m  in the middle of a new website design… finally, so busy busy!

suzanne-jackson-dress3

As you all know since April I have been planning a new web design but unfortunately, I was unable to find the perfect person do exactly what I had in mind! I am SO fussy and I wanted the new site to be the BOMB – so finding the perfect person was a little harder than expected. But –  finally my prayers were answered and I found a dream team of two lads who are amazing!!! Since finding them, I have been taking my time liaising with the site developer and the site designer to create the PERFECT world of what SoSueMe is – Fashion, Showbiz and Beauty! The new site is under construction and it will all be live by JAN! Who’s excited?? 🙂

The new site design will have my online shop – which will look really cool, a section for my YouTube and NEW personal blog! I know you guys read my personal stuff much more than the gossip so, I really wanted to section off my blog so that when you guys click in – all my personal blog posts will be in the one place – these will consist of my What I Wore, my beauty reviews, YouTube, and anything associated with little ole me. 🙂 It’s still on the site of course, but there is a tab especially for my personal side 🙂 I will also have my BRAND new SoStyleMe section on the new site too, this will be a place you guys can book me for one-to-one styling/personal shopping trips and see the past people I have helped and styled :). I am SO excited for you guys to see my new site – January will be a time of new beginnings!

Now about my YouTube – my NEW Canon 650D has been ordered and it should be here next week, as soon as it is – I will be starting my YouTube Channel 😉 I have been toying with the idea for almost a year now and after demands and emails from you guys to quite frankly get the finger out – I have done just that! I will have lots of different videos for you guys, so there will be something in it for everyone!

Now to get onto my What I Wore section from the weekend. On Friday I headed down to Cork with Dylan. It was one of my many b’day pressies that he bought me back in Oct and we had a fab time – he really is the best boyfriend ever, without sounding too cringe!

We stayed in the Radisson Blu Spa Hotel, which is amaze by the way and that night we headed to The Cornstone for dinner that he had booked and wow -the food and service was unreal there – 10/10!! Our waitress was so sweet, I left my bangle there and she ran after me,  just to hand it back! I was shocked – so thank you if you are reading this!

After that we headed to Soho for some cocktails and over all had a REALLY good night! I never knew Cork was so much fun! Loved it!

Q: Hi Sue, I’m an 18 year old college student and have always wanted to model. I have done 2/3 shoots for my friend studying photography but nothing major. There is an open day coming up in a modelling agency in my town and I don’t know what to wear. I’m not the skinniest girl with a UK size 10 sometimes 12 depending on the fitting and I’m told I have nice legs but I do have big enough hips. I cant afford a lot of nice clothes because of my studies so would have to make due with what I have. I really hope you can help me. I look forward to your reply. Paula x

Thelma-Multi-Colour-Bodycon-Midi-Dress-1
A: Hi Paula, ok well first of all, don’t stress about your hips and size etc. The best way to go to an open day is to look as natural and radiant as possible. When it comes to the clothes, make it simple and clean. You don’t want to wear anything distracting that will take their focus off of you. Make sure everything you have on is form-fitting and compliments your body shape. You can wear a pair of jeans, fitted or skinny, and a simple tank top.  Make sure you do not show too much skin or too much chest, as this will take their focus off of you as a complete package. A pair of simple black stilettos should be your shoe of choice. They will give you more height as well as accentuate your legs.

The complete package should be a pale coloured tank, skinny jeans, black stilettos, hair down, natural looking face. Remember no outfit is complete without a smile and confidence, so make yourself shine and catch their eye to get that job.

A: Hi Beth, I have the perfect place!! Frock n Fabulous! Kara a friend owns it and she has AMAZING stuff. I always rent from her! She’s just beside the Luas track in Dundrum!

What I Wore: Leather Mini & Stripped Blazer!

On Friday night – as some of you might know you are following me on Twitter (@SoSueMe_ie) – I was MC’ing a fashion show in Lillies Bordellos in aid of the amazing charity SOS – Suicide or Survive!

As we all know – many families in Ireland have been effected by suicide, so I would thank the people who came along and showed their support on the night!  By you guys being there – a little bit of a difference was made.

The night itself was a huge success and the models looked amazing in outfits by miinto.ie, Vavavoom.ie and Clerys, Dublin. I posted a few pictures to my Facebook over the weekend and a few of you emailed me about my hair and my outfit…

My hair was coloured and blow-dried by the lovely Gillian in Hessions Salon, Clontarf on Thursday night. I had a semi brown put in and a symbyo gloss over that to add some shine. I absolutely love going to Hessions – the hairdressers are top notch and the prices are really good compared to other salons! Hessions are also amazing at blow-drying extensions, which is so important for all us extensions girls to know out there and they have their very own extension bar in there too!! Click HERE to be directed to their website.

As you most of you all know by now – my extensions are by Ceira Lambert and Great Lengths Ireland. I will do a review on these later in the week. A lot of you are emailing me about my extensions and what hair products I use… so check back in at the end of the week. 🙂
What I Wore: Leather Mini & Stripped Blazer!

Skirt: Would you believe Penneys for like €5 or something- gotta love Penmeys!!

Top/Vest: Topshop

Stripped Jacket: Lara Boutique (€49)

Silver Detachable Collar: Miss Selfridges

Skull Ring:  Glitz & Glam.net

Bangles: Crystals & Co

What I Wore: Backless Rose Gold Sequin Dress!

Morning SoSueMe’s – how is everyone this Tuesday morning? All set for crimbo?

Anyway, as some of you already know from my Twitter, Facebook and Instagram posts on Saturday night – I had my girls Christmas night out! Every year just before Christmas all of the girls get together for a nice dinner and some drinkies… strictly no boys 🙂 We have girlie chats, catch ups and of course the laughs together.

On Saturday before I went out – I couldn’t choose what to wear, so as usual – I turned to you guys to help me and posted the pic above! I had a backless rose gold dress from Vavavoom.ie or a black leather peplum from iclothing.ie to choose from. In the end – the majority of you went with the rose gold because it was Christmas…. and what better way to rock out than in a few sparkles! So thanks for helping me guys!

That night we went to Fire for dinner, which was absolutely fab. The food was unreal and the service was A1. After that, we headed over to 37 Dawson street where I had a table booked for us and the waitress couldn’t have been any more helpful, so sweet! We had a bottle of wine there and headed on to Krystle! The night was so much fun!!
